Through
three generations, JP Eliopulos has made it's way
to the innovative builders they are today. Petros
Constandino Eliopulos traveled from Europe, Greece
to New York, and then settled in Los Angeles where
he farmed and worked on railroads. There he became
the proud father of eight children, one of which
was John Petros Eliopulos. In 1918, the Eliopulos
family made the move to the undeveloped Antelope
Valley which reminded them of their village in Greece,
and allowed them to continue to do what they love
most, farming. As the population grew, the demand
for development increased which made the Eliopulos
family reconsider the use of their farmland. This
increase in demand for development intrigued the
Eliopulos family, at which point they began to envision
the future of the Antelope Valley.
- In
1957, John P. Eliopulos began his real estate
business in the Antelope Valley.
-
In 1959, John P. Eliopulos became father of
Andrew J. Eliopulos, who at an early age worked
closely with his father in the business.
-
In 1983, at 24 years old, Andrew J. Eliopulos
was developing and selling homes full time.
-
In 1989, John and Andrew Eliopulos founded J.P.
Eliopulos Builders/Deverlopers in Lancaster,
California.
-
In 1999, with the sudden and unfortunate passing
of John P. Eliopulos, a son determined to keep
his father's "American Dream" alive
became the President and CEO of J.P. Eliopulos
Builders/Developers, which is still alive and
thriving today.
